Michelle Rost

Michelle was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She enjoys traveling and has done much throughout the U.S., Europe, and South East Asia. She has lived in many places including Baton Rouge, Madison, WI, Zagreb, Croatia, and Knoxville, TN. Currently, she resides in Phoenix, AZ.

Michelle is a self-taught painter who works in a home studio. Her primary medium is oil on canvas accented with metallic acrylic and metallic flake paints. Bold color, sleek design, and elegance of style define her creations. Her paintings are influenced by music, literature, poetry, cats, travel, and above all the emotional aspects and power of color.
